Thought on a Monday:

Jesus didn’t die on the cross for us to just be “nice” people or to have safe/comfortable lives. He wants us to be threatening to the kingdom of darkness. He says to GO. What is the next step God is calling you to take? What is holding you back?

Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

John 15:16 “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.”

…from the movie The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. I love that the movie’s message was that when you feel like nobody sees all your hard work, it is always noticed and will pay off. Even if nobody notices, the work you do makes you into the person you are. It’s more about the journey than the destination.
